Ralink is proud to be an active participant in industry organizations dedicated to advancing state-of-the-art technologies with an eye toward standards-compliance for reliable performance, quality and interoperability.

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.(IEEE) is a leading developer of international standards that underpin many of today's telecom, IT and power generation products. The IEEE Standards Association has developed the prominent IEEE 802.11 standards for wireless networking. Ralink is an active member of the IEEE 802.11n Task Group.

The Wi-Fi Alliance conducts testing and certification programs to ensure the interoperability of Wireless Local Area Network products which are based on IEEE 802.11x standards. Ralink is a member of the Wi-Fi Alliance, and all Ralink products are Wi-Fi certified.

The Peripheral Component Interconnect Special Interest Group (PCI SIG) develops and manages the PCI bus specification, the industry standard for a high-performance I/O interconnect to transfer data between a CPU and its peripherals. With over 900 members, the PCI SIG places ownership of PCI specifications with the developer community.

USB Implementers Forum is a non-profit corporation founded to provide a forum and support for the advancement, development and adoption of Universal Serial Bus technologies.

The Wireless Gigabit Alliance (also known as WiGig) is an organization promoting the adoption of multi-gigabit-speed wireless communications technology operating over unlicensed 60 GHz spectrum.

Digital Living Network AllianceSM began in 2003 when a collection of companies from around the world agreed that they all made better products when those products were compatible.

WAPI (WLAN Authentication and Privacy Infrastructure) is a Chinese National Standard for Wireless LAN. It is designed to operate on top of WiFi, compatibility with the security protocol used by the 802.11 wireless networking standard developed by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc. (IEEE)

Intelligent Grouping and Resource Sharing (IGRS) is wireless standard that enables diverse electronic devices to inter-operate with one another. IGRS standard aim is for devices to: (1) Devices automatically discover each other upon entering a network (2) Each device share its digital resources (3) Multiple devices can collaborate to form new applications
